Time for a party: our programme Amsterdam Smart City is celebrating their 15-year anniversary. A great moment to look back on years of innovating and learning together. Above all, we’ll look ahead to the years to come. We’ll have the official launch of Amsterdam InChange: the new name of Amsterdam Smart City.
It will be a blast! The theme of the day is ‘In motion’. After 15 years, we continue to build a new vision, together with our rich network of partners. We show that things must and can be done differently.

‘InChange’ represents momentum, shift and transformation from creative thinking. It implies that innovation is not just about new ideas, but about meaningful changes that affect communities, businesses, individuals and society.
‘In’ indicates that innovation has momentum; it is ongoing. It also suggests the collaborative effort, never in isolation. It emphasises that every stakeholder, from the smallest start-ups to the largest companies, plays a crucial role in this transformation.
‘Change’ reinforces the purpose and outcome of intended innovation. It is not innovation for innovation’s sake, but innovation focused on tangible, meaningful change. InChange represents a network committed to fostering meaningful, collective transformations through the open innovation power of all partners.
