REFLOW ends this year and on the evening of April 19 we will hold a circular textile festival in Pakhuis de Zwijger.

It will be a large and versatile program throughout the entire building with a closing REFLOW presentation, workshops, film, clothing exchange, market, spoken word and more.

19:00 – 21:30 – Marketplace and workshops (continuous)

  • Food & drinks (café and foyer on the 2nd floor)
  • Pop-up Swapshop for clothes exchange (Expo).
    Hand in your clothes in exchange for Swaps. And find something else fun in the pop-up Swap Shop
  • Mending workshop of Waag’s Textile Lab (Expo)
    Repair and upcycle clothing that you no longer use under the guidance of workshop leaders from Waag’s Textile Lab
  • Fashion Revolution Garment Stories workshop (Foyer 2nd floor)
    Write a breakup letter to your outdated shopping behavior or a love letter to the good & improved you and get a place on the Wall of Fame
  • Stands (Foyer 2nd floor)
    Culture.fashion, Fashion for Good (Fashion Confession Booth), MUD Jeans, De Stitch, True Cost Label, Cosh! Clean & Unique and trolleys from the city wardrobe to hand in clothes.

19.30 – 20.15 – Opening program: REFLOW Showcase (Main Hall)

From the publication of the REFLOW booklet to setting up a Swapshop. And from the Denim Deal with entrepreneurs to a discount at the tailor with a Stadspas promotion. How has the European REFLOW project contributed to making textiles in Amsterdam more sustainable? And how can the city region proceed with this?     Meetup of Amsterdam Economic Board and partners, around the Green Deal Circular Textiles in the region, with the theme of cooperation. Read more.
  • Documentary and discussion Full Circle (Workspace)
    Film screening of the documentary “Full Circle” about overproduction, overconsumption and textile waste and what we can do about it, followed by a discussion with filmmaker Chanel Trapman, Thami Schweigler (Makers Unite) and Monique Drent (Swapshop). Background information

The REFLOW project aims to develop circular and regenerative cities by enabling active citizen engagement and system change to rethink the current approach to material flows in cities. The project uses Fab Labs and maker spaces as catalysts for change in urban and peri-urban environments. Read more.
