Scaling up Startups Learn & Share #4: From Learning to Doing

The Amsterdam Metropolitan Area is internationally known for its thriving startup ecosystem, yet only a few startups grow into scale-ups and beyond. In the event series Scaling up Startups Learn & Share, we bring together all the startup supporters in our network to connect, learn from each other, and identify where there is overlap and where the gaps are.

Compared to other European hotspots, Amsterdam’s tech ecosystem has lost momentum in recent years when looking at the total value of the ecosystem (“Dutch State of AI”).

There’s work to be done to capitalise on the potential that still exists. That’s why Amsterdam Economic Board, together with the City of Amsterdam, ROM InWest, the AMS Institute, is organising this Learn & Share series. We are engaging the broad network of organisations that support startups in various ways, from accelerators to capital matching, and from networking events to masterclasses.

In this series, we will work on concrete questions from startups so that the support provided by this ecosystem aligns with founders’ needs in a logical and transparent way.
