Three promising regional healthcare innovations will competing for placement at the finals of the National Zorginnovatieprijs 2025.

This event brings together innovation in health and wellfare. On January 21, promising healthcare innovations from the provinces of North Holland and Flevoland will compete for a chance to advance to the national finals of the Zorginnovatieprijs 2025.

Besides all the honour, attention and recognition, there is a lot at stake for these entrepreneurs. The regional winner will participate in the partner network of the Amsterdam Economic Board for one year free of charge. They will also win two tickets to Innovation for Health in April.

Most importantly, the winner of each regional preliminary round will advance to the finals on March 13 during the Health Valley Event. On April 9, the national winner will take the stage, during the Care & ict conference. Prince Constantijn van Oranje will then host the award ceremony, with an extra festive, orange touch.

In short, this provides an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs to accelerate their innovation that has already been worked out, tested and launched.

This is a private event for invitees only. Would you like to join us? Please send an email to Gerty Holla.

Programme

During a private Boardroom Pitchevent in the Koepel in Haarlem, the entrepreneurs will present their healthcare innovation to the professional jury and the Zorg2040 coalition. The judges will choose who wins the regional preliminary round and goes to the national finals. These are the regional nominees:

PAVA – Femke Delissen

PAVA uses WiFi sensing technology to monitor movement, location and sleep of residents in care facilities. This system is designed to ease the workload of care staff and increase healthcare quality without storing privacy-sensitive data.

Rezolve Medical – Lennart Zielstra

Traditional ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs) have high failure rates due to discomfort and stiffness. Rezolve Medical ‘s Rise AFO solves this with a revolutionary design. It exerts force through the shoe, rather than the foot. This 3D printed, personalised solution provides optimal support with natural freedom of movement.

Pacmed – Wouter Kroese

Pacmed Critical has an AI decision support tool for the Intensive Care physician, for better care and more efficient utilisation of ICU beds. By leveraging hospital data, it enables better healthcare workflows for medical decision support, capacity forecasting and task automation.

This offers companies and their tried, tested and launched innovation a solid push to really make their venture a success.

In addition, the partners organise Zorg2040 meetings, aimed at bringing together healthcare and welfare innovators and professionals, business, researchers and knowledge institutions in the field of health and prevention. The premise is to share knowledge, new research and innovative solutions.
