Promising regional healthcare innovations will compete for a spot in the finals at the National Zorginnovatieprijs 2026.
This event brings together innovation in health and well-being. On 20 January, promising healthcare innovations from the provinces of North Holland and Flevoland, as well as the region Gooi en Vechtstreek, will compete for a chance to advance to the national finals of the Zorginnovatieprijs 2026. Our event will take place at Beurs van Berlage.
In addition to all the honour, attention and recognition, there is a lot at stake for these entrepreneurs. The regional winner will participate in Amsterdam Economic Board’s partner network for one year, free of charge. They will also win two tickets to Innovation for Health in March 2026. And most importantly:
The winner of each regional preliminary round will advance to the finals on 12 March, during the Health Valley Event. On 15 April, the national winner will take the stage, during the Zorg & ict Congress. In short, this provides an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs to accelerate their innovation that has already been worked out, tested and launched.

Partners in the Zorg2040 coalition – Amsterdam Economic Board, Sigra, ROM InWest and Amsterdam AI – have successfully organised the regional preliminaries for the Zorginnovatieprijs for many years. This offers companies and their tried, tested and launched innovation a solid push to really turn their venture into a success. Beurs van Berlage is involved in this edition by sponsoring the location.
In addition, the partners organise Zorg2040 meetings, aimed at bringing together healthcare and well-being innovators and professionals, business, researchers and knowledge institutions in the field of health and prevention. The premise is to share knowledge, new research and innovative solutions.
