Some fixed components return, such as the work sessions. Here we explore issues in depth together and give a stage to innovative start-ups.

The Innovation Lab grew out of the Amsterdam InChange programme, and its predecessor: Amsterdam Smart City. The unique values of this programme are thus embedded within the Amsterdam Economic Board.
For this partner network, Demo Days are a familiar concept. These afternoons are designed to present the progress of innovation projects to each other, put help questions on the table, share dilemmas and get more partners involved in a project and move these issues forward.
The Innovation Lab always works from the three central themes of Amsterdam Economic Board, focusing on:
- Life Sciences & Health, with the goal: a healthy region
- Tech & AI, aiming to be an innovative region
- Industry, with the goal: a clean region
We end the day with a snack and drink. The afternoons are characterised by a very open and cheerful atmosphere.
