How do we create the breakthroughs we need for a future-proof region? How do we turn urgency into concrete goals and decisiveness? What themes do we use to put the region broadly on the map?

Working towards a new, shared vision of a future-proof economy requires that we leverage our collective strengths, in a different way than before. That we create new solutions, build on each other’s experiences and use collective leadership as a key. In this 24-hour session, our Board members will experience the Amsterdam Economic Board’s new course together. By exploring, sharing insights and taking steps forward to make a difference together. Through the co-creation of ‘rules of engagement’. From this new foundation, we’ll choose three long-term objectives and how to put them into practice in our network.

More information

To make more of an impact, the Amsterdam Economic Board is strengthening the connection with the sub-regions within the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. We are working on a targeted number of goals, together with partners who want to commit to these goals. With these partners, we have a shared picture of what that future-proof economy in the region would look like.

In the new approach, our partners are in the lead. From a shared interest, partners connect their own tasks to those of others. Together, in coalitions, they provide the results and their funding. In the short, medium and long term.

This requires a new approach. Read more about our new course with regional ambitions.
