Hein van der Loo is mayor of the City of Almere. He views digitalisation, energy transition and circular economy as changes that offer opportunities for Almere and Flevoland, in close connection with the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. Hein appreciates the Amsterdam Economic Board as an independent platform that addresses social issues of the region.
Hein is a member of our Board and a member of the Agenda Committee. He wants to push for a ‘different’ role for governments in the region.
