Within the Healthy Region theme, we connect board members and other partners from our network in coalitions. In the long term, we are working to reduce health disparities within the Amsterdam region.
In February, we kicked off the Healthy Region theme. Together with partners, we chose topics that we will develop into concrete projects. These contribute to our long-term goal. Board partners Amsterdam UMC, Philips, ROM InWest and Rochdale are taking the lead in this theme.
In follow-up sessions, we will work on these topics.
The Sleeping Giant/ Innovation Districts
This involves strengthening the current, fragmented ecosystem of organisations and innovation districts. As well as supporting the valorisation and innovation within the regional LSH sector.
MRA with a Heart
Working towards an integrative inclusive approach to improve cardio vascular health and work on prevention. Building on real-world data, with insights into behavior. With a research and implementation pathway, including simulation models for specific interventions and policies.
Healthy Buildings
The focus here is on innovative housing solutions, with attention to social cohesion, health and integration of digital care technology. In Amsterdam’s Gein neighbourhood, Rochdale has already started this. Together we can help scale it up.
Would you like your organisation to be involved in these projects as a partner? Please feel free to contact us.
