Amsterdam Economic Board
Focus: Defining and realising systemic breakthroughs
After completing his master’s thesis, Onno Koers joined the Amsterdam Economic Board in 2013. He dedicated himself to creating a stronger Research & Development climate in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. Three years later, Onno switched to consultancy and worked at commercial and government organisations on major transformations. These often encouraged thinking about cross-organisational goals – a helpful skill when working for the region.
In 2022, Onno returned to the Amsterdam Economic Board. As a Strategic Advisor, he now works mainly on defining and realising systemic breakthroughs in the labour market, aimed at creating meaningful work for everyone.
