Edith Hooge is a member of our Board. She is chairperson of the Executive Board of the University of Amsterdam (UvA). For this reason, Edith was asked to join and make a difference with the Amsterdam Economic Board on the important issues that impact our region.
The UvA strives for a sustainable, prosperous future and champion justice and equal opportunities. Every year, thousands of UvA-alumni start work or set up new businesses. UvA-scientists work to create impact and social value by partnering with businesses, governments and civil society organisations on topics such as responsible AI and sustainability. As a driver of innovation in the region, the UvA is an important partner for the Amsterdam Economic Board.
