Focus: Communication and Mobility
Pelle Menke works within the Amsterdam InChange programme on the theme of Mobility and brings the right parties together. With the network, he organises workshops and initiates collaboration on regional mobility challenges. He is also responsible for Amsterdam InChange’s online communication channels and practical preparations for events.
Pelle has a background in Social Geography Planning (BSc) and Sustainable Entrepreneurship (MSc), and previously worked as a sustainable entrepreneur, photographer and marketer in the non-profit sector.
“Our environment influences how we move around. The way we organise our mobility system affects our environment. Shifting towards a more sustainable mobility system is not just about electrification and efficiency. We will need to pay more attention to accessibility and inclusiveness, and how to adapt our collective travel behaviour and habits.”
