Geert ten Dam is chairman of the Executive Board at the University of Amsterdam. According to her, the Board should channel the forces of various partners on a select number of large projects, with a focus on equality, sustainability and health. Knowledge institutions contribute, among others, by investing in data science and artificial intelligence, research into health problems in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area and monitoring impact and new knowledge in the field of sustainability.
