Collaborate on an integrated approach to improve heart health in the Amsterdam region! MRA with a Heart received a lot of interest during the kick-off of our new Healthy Region theme, focused on Life Sciences & Health and Biotech.
We will work on an integrated approach to improve heart-health. Building on real-world data (Health Data Space Amsterdam), with insights into behaviour. And a strong research and implementation track, including simulation models for specific interventions and policies.
The outcomes provide a better understanding of cardiovascular health disparities in the region, and can be used for inclusive health improvement and broad long-term prediction.
Board partners Amsterdam UMC, Philips, ROM InWest and Rochdale are taking the lead in the Healthy Region theme.

Programme
In this first follow-up session, we will jointly make this project more concrete. Answering questions such as:
- What will be the goal of this collaboration? And what do we want to initiate together?
- What would we like to have accomplished in two years, in one year and within the next 6 months?
- What contribution will partners make from their organisations?
The event will be held in Dutch.
More information
During the kick-off of our new Healthy Region theme, six topics were presented to a diverse group of partners.
Their task was to choose a number of urgent topics. That would benefit the most from a collaboration between partners from business, government, knowledge institutions and civil society organisations.
In addition to the topic of MRA with a Heart, the following were chosen:
- Healthy Buildings: innovative housing solutions, with social cohesion and integration of digital healthcare technology.
- The Sleeping Giant/ Innovation Districts: developing and raising the profile of the current, fragmented ecosystem of organisations and innovation districts.
