The Healthy Buildings coalition focuses on innovative housing solutions, with attention to social cohesion, health and integration of digital healthcare technology. In Amsterdam’s Gein neighbourhood, Rochdale has already started.
The Healthy Buildings coalition has emerged from our Healthy Region theme, focused on Life Sciences & Health and Biotech. Board partners Amsterdam UMC, Philips, ROM InWest and Rochdale are taking the lead in this theme.
Together, the coalition of triple helix parties (architect, developers, housing corporation, healthcare institutions, education, etc.) can help improve and scale up this approach, both within the City of Amsterdam and in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area.

More information
Healthy Buildings is one of the partner coalitions, working together within our Healthy Region theme. At the end of February was the kick-off of the Healthy Region theme. We started three new partner coalitions in April.
In the coalitions, we work with partners in various ways to reduce health disparities within the Amsterdam region.
Our partners join us from businesses, government, knowledge institutions and civil society organisations. Want to know what partnering with the Amsterdam Economic Board entails? Find out more about becoming a partner.
