Together with a group of committed partners, we’ll dive deeper into Healthy Buildings. This sparked a lot of interest during the kick-off of our new Healthy Region theme, focused on Life Sciences & Health and Biotech.
The focus within this topic is on innovative housing solutions, with attention to social cohesion and integration of digital care technology. In the Amsterdam neighbourhood of Gein, Rochdale has already started this. Together we can help scale it up.
Boardpartners Amsterdam UMC, Philips, ROM InWest and Rochdale are taking the lead in the Healthy Region theme.

Does Healthy Buildings also trigger your interest? Would you like to participate in this sessionas a partner? Please contact Gerty Holla or Jet van Eeghen.
Programme
In this first follow-up session, we will jointly make this project more concrete. Answering questions such as:
- What will be the goal of this collaboration? And what do we want to initiate together?
- What would we like to have accomplished in two years, in one year and within the next 6 months?
- What contribution will partners make from their organisations?
The event will be held in Dutch.
More information
During the kick-off of our new Healthy Region theme, six topics were presented to a diverse group of partners.
Their task was to choose a number of urgent topics. That would benefit the most from a collaboration between partners from business, government, knowledge institutions and civil society organisations.
In addition to the topic of Healthy Buildings, the following were chosen:
- MRA with a Heart: integrative inclusive approach to cardiovascular health.
- The Sleeping Giant/ Innovation Districts: developing and raising the profile of the current, fragmented ecosystem of organisations and innovation districts.
