On Octobre 18th, 2024, IQVIA will host the first Health Inequality Summit, titled ‘From insight to action: the role of government, academia and corporates’.

With this summit, IQVIA and its partners want to contribute to reducing health disparities in the Netherlands. There will be talk about ongoing interventions, regional initiatives and Health Data Space Amsterdam.

Programme

The morning programme focuses on existing understandings of health disparities and barriers to reducing them. Ilona Kickbusch (WHO) will give an international perspective as keynote speaker, after which different academic centers will share their insights.

The afternoon programme focuses on ongoing interventions and the collaborative effort to remove these barriers. This will include a focus on regional initiatives to address health disparities and the role of data in doing so.

The day concludes with a panel discussion, during which agreements will be made with each other to remove barriers.
