From sustainable evening delivery to a digital layer over our physical infrastructure, and everything in between: smart and clean city logistics has many facets. They were all discussed at the first live Meetup in a year and a half for the partners and signatories of the Green Deal Zero Emission City Logistics in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area (GDZESMRA). And with 17 new signatories on board, there was even more reason to celebrate.

ROM InWest for an innovative, strong business climate in North Holland

The Regional Development Agency (ROM) InWest was launched in the presence of minister Stef Blok, deputy Ilse Zaal and aldermen Victor Everhardt and Pieter Dijkman. With a capital of €160 million, ROM InWest supports entrepreneurs in North Holland who are committed to accelerating the energy transition and the circular economy. Janet Nieboer has been nominated to take up office as director of ROM InWest as of 1 January 2022. The development company will be housed in the Cupola XS — the former dome prison in Haarlem.

More than 100 public and private organizations that purchase ICT equipment have united in the 'Buyer Group ICT'. This Buyer Group wants to actively contribute to a circular economy with an ambitious purchasing policy.
