Top influencers gathered during State of the Region 2019

During the State of the Region on 17 June 2019, hundreds of key players from the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area met for the first time in this composition. During State of the Region, they will discuss the vision of the future Amsterdam Metropolitan Area with each other, how the region is currently doing and what challenges and opportunities there are to realize that vision. Together they work on the ambitions for the Metropolis of the Future.

State of the Region, an initiative of the authorities in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area (AMA), Amsterdam Marketing and the Amsterdam Economic Board and made possible by Rabobank, ABN Amro and Nuon, must become more than a “one off event”. It is a milestone in a process in which parties in the MRA are encouraged to join forces in order to achieve concrete goals on the six metropolitan challenges (Circular Economy, Energy, Mobility, Health, Talent for the Future and Digital Connectivity).
