TechConnect kickstarts diverse initiatives to reach these goals:
TechGrounds: tech-hubs within deprived areas that bring tech-entrepreneurship and digital skills to vulnerable communities within those areas. In the end of 2019 TechGrounds opened their first location in Amsterdam Osdorp Nieuw-West.
TeachForAmsterdam: the goal is to train 300 IT teachers within four years, for free, together with the industry, University of Amsterdam, VU Amsterdam and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
TekkieWorden.nl: THE study guide for studying and working in tech, for all educational levels: vocational, higher education and academic. The “Profiler” offers a gamified tech profile assessment offering tailored advice on IT studies and jobs.

In 2020 TechConnect will introduce:
MKB Digital Workspace: an initiatief that helps SME’s to accelerate their digitalistion by activating future IT workers to SME’s and by re- and up-skilling SME staff.
TekkieWorden Metrics Office: offers tech data in the provinces of Noord-Holland, Zuid-Holland and Utrecht.
TechGrounds will open their second tech hub in Amsterdam Zuidoost, a third lcoation in Zaanstad/Amsterdam Noord and will open two more locations throughout the Netherlands.
