Workshop Prevention and Health

Look differently, act differently requires bold choices. Also to improve on prevention and health.

In the spring, representatives of regional public and private parties participated in the Prevention dinner for Healthy & Active Living in the Metropolis of Tomorrow, organised by the Amsterdam Economic Board in cooperation with the MRA Bureau and ROM InWest.

The responses showed a clear need for a follow-up. Therefore, as part of the call Look differently, act differently, we are organising a workshop on Prevention and Health.

Programme

This workshop will be held in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area on Sept. 14, from 9:30-12:30 am (lunch included). The event is by invitation only. Walk-in starts at 9:00 am.

During this working workshop, we will work together on the subtasks that emerged in the previous meeting. How will we see and do things differently together? We want to make a start on a prevention roadmap for the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area.

The workshops are learning and experimentation spaces for change agents within companies, governments, knowledge institutions and civil society organisations to discover together what looking and acting differently means. And how to apply its principals to concrete issues. Read more about Look differently, act differently.

Look differently, act differently is new territory for the Amsterdam Economic Board as well. Therefore, we’ll be developing and finetuning the programming this summer.
