Together with Amsterdam Bike City, our Green Deal Bicycle initiative is building the cycling community in the region with existing and new partners.

The Green Deal Bicycle’s ambition is to activate 100,000 cyclists in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area! In 2023 we’ll go full speed ahead in continuing these efforts. Because biking is good for your health and the environment. Want to know more about this? Then attend Amsterdam Bike City’s event at Pakhuis de Zwijger on February 6.

The inspiring and interactive program will cover all four Green Deal Bicycle themes in plenty of detail:

  • Opening with Marja Ruigrok, vice chairman of Vervoerregio Amsterdam and Richard Hoving | Amsterdam Economic Board
  • Bicycle service points along regional transit routes: What are bicycle service points? What is the added value? Where should they be located? With Sander Buningh | BAM Infra
  • Bicycle-friendly working conditions: Every employer can make work of cycling. How exactly does it work? What are the obstacles? With Jennifer Woltjer | Lease a Bike
  • Impact of bike incentives: What data is available to make an impact with more cyclists? How do we get more people on bikes if you may say so? With Rob Koster |
  • More kids on bikes between the ages of 2 and 20: What examples are already out there? Where can we scale up? With Remko Pijnaker | Groeifiets

There is plenty of room for your ideas and questions!
