    Background information

The Amsterdam Economic Board is the initiator, as are the MRA Bureau, the Vervoerregio and BYCS. Together with companies, governments and knowledge institutions, we are pushing for more residents and companies to opt for the bicycle as a means of transport.

The Green Deal Bicycle is a covenant signed by 40+ organizations in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. The aim is to strengthen the position of a leading cycling region and to encourage tens of thousands of new people to opt for a bicycle until 2025. We focus on four topics: bicycle service points | working conditions | young people on a bicycle | knowledge pooling.
