Amsterdam Life Sciences Café: Partnering with Galapagos or finding independent funding?

The Amsterdam Economic Board and EY welcome you to the next Amsterdam Life Sciences Café adressing an entrepreneurial dilemma.

This edition will be focussed on the next step for Life Sciences entrepreneurs and start-ups. We are honoured to have two seasoned speakers who will not only share their ideas with us, but who also expressed the hope to meet new potential partners.

It promises to be an exciting get together again, with an extra warm welcome to those Life Sciences companies looking to make a next step.

  • Andre Hoekema (Galapagos) will tell us about the Galapagos view on partnerships. And, as Galapagos is growing rapidly, he will also be elaborating on the new partnerships they are looking to create. Hint: these are not limited to immunology and small molecules.
  • Henk Viëtor is owner of DDF Ventures and CEO of DC4U. Henk is an active entrepreneur in the life sciences industry and has (co-)founded several biotechnology companies. He will share his ideas on partnering and about the advantages that independent investors may bring.

As always, we will start with a brief update on Life Sciences in the Region and we will make sure there is ample time for discussion – right after the presentations and during drinks.

Please note: Entrance is free, but registration is required. Walk-in 4PM, kick-off 4.30PM
